Vendor Rating System Overhaul: Five-Category Metrics Now Live

The legacy single-score (1-5 stars) vendor rating system has been retired and replaced with a five-category assessment model. This change directly addresses the most common feedback from the marketplace community: that aggregate ratings obscured important information about specific vendor strengths and weaknesses.

The Five Categories

Every completed transaction now generates a rating request covering five dimensions:

• Product Accuracy: Did the product match the listing description in type, quality, and quantity?
• Stealth Quality: Was the packaging adequate for the stated shipping method and destination?
• Shipping Speed: Did the package arrive within the stated delivery window?
• Communication: Was the vendor responsive, clear, and professional in their communications?
• Overall Experience: A holistic assessment of the complete transaction.

Impact on Vendor Visibility

Search results and listing rankings now incorporate the five-dimensional rating in a weighted composite. Vendors with consistently high scores across all five categories rank above those with high overall scores but weak performance in specific areas. This creates stronger incentives for vendors to invest in all aspects of their service quality.
